In early April, Prince William and his wife Kate Middleton took a week-long trip to India and Bhutan. The diplomatic visit was made to strengthen relations between the two countries - Great Britain and India.

Kate Middleton and Prince William in India

Kate Middleton and her husband's official visit to India began on April 10. First of all, the monarchs devoted time to communicating with local residents, namely with those injured in 2008 during the terrorist attack on the Taj Mahal hotel. The prince and his wife also paid tribute to the victims.

The couple played cricket with children from the slums. At the same time, Kate was genuinely having fun hitting the balls.

They also met with local entrepreneurs at the exhibition and discussed the latest technologies. At the same time, ten developers were lucky enough to win a trip to exchange experience with colleagues from the UK.

During Kate Middleton and Prince William's trip to India, they attended a gala evening organized in honor of the Queen's 90th birthday. In addition, the royal couple participated in the following events:

  • lunch meeting with Indian Prime Minister Narenda Modi at his residence Hederabad House;
  • visiting Kaziranga National Park, where the couple held two meetings. Representatives of public organizations from New Delhi took part in them. Priority was given to discussing issues related to wildlife and the conservation of endangered animal species. There, the Duke and Duchess interacted with residents of the local village of Panbari and took part in decorating a statue for the Elephant Parade;
  • meeting with rangers;
  • hiking in the Pato Valley;
  • visit to Thimphu, the capital of Bhutan, to meet with local monarchs.

In addition, in New Delhi, India, Kate Middleton visited the Salaam Baalak children's foundation, which supports street children. There the couple communicated with the students of this organization.

Kate Middleton and her outfits in India

While attending various events in India, Kate Middleton surprised others with her dresses, which were carefully selected for official visits. The duchess approached the choice of outfits extremely responsibly - many of them contained ethnic motifs and in one way or another intersected with the national Indian costume.

Some of the dresses were made in the style of the 60s and 70s, which perfectly matches Kate's classic appearance. Several outfits turned out to be blue or light blue, which suit the Duchess incredibly well and are her favorite colors. There were also classic-cut clothes in black and white or pastel colors.

During a visit to the children's foundation Salaam Baalak, Kate had a traditional red dot painted on her forehead, which perfectly matched her colorful Indian-style dress.

At a meeting with the Indian Prime Minister, those around were amazed by the elegant appearance of the Duchess. She was wearing a turquoise dress trimmed with embroidery and lace. The look was completed with pumps and flesh-colored shoes.

When Kate Middleton returned from India, the public had the opportunity to study numerous reports containing details of the events and outfits they wore.

Thus, during a trip to India, Kate Middleton once again confirmed her title as a style icon. Many people who watched the royal couple's trip followed with equal interest both the diplomatic success of the mission and the variety of outfits of the Duchess of Cambridge.

On a tour of India, where the Duchess went with her husband, Prince William, she brought a whole wardrobe of various outfits: elegant dresses, loose tunics, comfortable trousers - the visit program is so intense that Kate has to change clothes several times a day.

For her meeting with the Prime Minister of India, Catherine chose a vintage-style dress from designer Temperley London. You can order the same for $1,395. Kate completed the outfit with elegant shoes in a still fashionable nude shade and a matching clutch. The designer of the minister's suit wished to remain anonymous.

Catherine has several outfits with ethnic prints in her arsenal. Of course, she's in India! At a meeting with victims of the terrorist attack at the Taj Mahal hotel in Mumbai, which shocked India in 2008, the duchess appeared in an elegant red Alexander McQueen dress.

Catherine demonstrated another dress with a traditional Indian pattern (by the way, again from Temperley London) at a reception in honor of Elizabeth II, which took place in New Delhi. Kate had quite budget Accessorize earrings in her ears, which she wore even before the wedding. The Duchess, despite her high status, continues to wear items from the mass market. And he does it very beautifully.

The blue dress from Jenny Peckham, in which the Duchess appeared at the Bollywood gala, created a real sensation. The luxurious outfit is reminiscent of an Indian sari in a super modern design. By the way, the dress was embroidered by hand, and it was craftsmen from India who did this. The earrings Kate wore were also made by Indian designers. So everything is very authentic.

However, Duchess Catherine looks great even without patterns and rich embroidery. Even in a modest white dress, she attracts the attention of the public.

But the creation of designer Emilia Wickstead turned out to be very insidious: a sudden wind turned Kate Middleton into Marilyn Monroe. Now some representatives of the Indian delegation probably know.

When Kate gets tired of heels, she changes into comfortable shoes. The Duchess wore Russell & Bromley flats to visit a children's charity in New Delhi. They were accompanied by a red maxi dress in ethnic style.

Fortunately, in India, Kate and William not only have time to attend official events, but also have a little fun. For example, they stopped at a local safari park. And now Katherine has already tried on a shirt, tight trousers and a warm scarf.

The royal couple also attended a folklore evening, for which the Duchess chose a blue-green silk and chiffon dress from the autumn-winter collection of the Anna Sui brand. Kate wore an outfit from this designer for the first time. Maybe this is a confession for Anna Sui?

Kate manages to look great in any circumstances. She is always reserved, smiling and polite to everyone, including the photographers who follow her around. And she’s not afraid to be funny, which is why she hits the target – be it with her outfits or with a soccer ball. At a sports competition in a poor area of India, Catherine appeared in a dress from the Indian brand Anita Dongre.

William still has Bhutan ahead of Kate, so very soon we will probably be treated to a new batch of stunning outfits from the English princess.

During the official tour of Prince William and his wife, Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton, in India and Bhutan, the Duchess's variety of outfits was demonstrated to the whole world.

This is stated in a message on the website bestin.ua.

The British royal couple's program turned out to be truly intense: visiting national parks and gala evenings, archery lessons, playing cricket with children from the slums, hiking through the Pato Valley and meetings with entrepreneurs and the government of India and Bhutan. During the week of the tour, which ends on April 16, the princess had many reasons to confirm her title as a style icon. The whole world is watching the royal trip, and Kate's every exit is discussed with no less interest than the diplomatic success of the mission. So, a few hours after Kate wore a dress by Indian designer Anita Dongre in Mumbai, the website of the author of the outfit crashed due to a large number of people from the UK, Australia, Canada and the USA wanting to receive exactly the same thing.

Kate brought most of her looks from her native UK, while the Duchess happily wears items from luxury brands Alexander McQueen and Jenny Packham, as well as accessories and clothing from mass market brands - Topshop, ZARA and Acessorize.

As Lime reported, .

For six days, Kate Middleton and her husband traveled around India and Bhutan. The couple's adventure was very bright and eventful, and Katherine changed an incredible number of outfits during this short period, but they were all incredibly good. Moreover, among the duchess’s clothes there were both very expensive ones and those bought in stores in the public segment. Let's remember everything!

The first day of a week-long tour and Prince William is notable, first of all, for the superbly chosen outfit of the Duchess: a rich scarlet skirt suit with black and white ethnic patterns was perfect for a visit to Mumbai, the capital of India. Luxurious outfit from Alexander McQueen Kate paired it with classic beige pumps - a win-win option. The shade of the shoes, in accordance with the classical canon, echoed the small beige clutch in the hands of the duchess, and the laconic gold-colored hoop earrings gave the look a sort of “Indianness.”

In the morning, Kate played cricket; for this purpose, the Duchess chose a bright loose-fitting dress from an Indian brand Anita Dongre. In general, this move is very symbolic, because in addition to the fact that Middleton “supported the local manufacturer,” she also supported the local population by teaching a cricket lesson not to high-ranking Indians, but to ordinary children from the slums. For a bright light Anita Dongre dress, Catherine chose closed fabric wedge shoes in a soft blue color, and in moments of special sunny activity, she wore glasses Ray-Ban classic model.

At the evening gala dinner prepared by Bollywood employees on the occasion of Kate and William's visit, the Duchess was deservedly the center of attention. Catherine appeared on the red carpet in a luxurious dress from, one of the Duchess's favorite brands, the embroidery on which was made in India - such a combination of native and thematic. It is symbolic that the beauty’s outfit resembled sari- traditional women's clothing in India. From under the long dress, laconic sandals with thin black membranes were sometimes shown, but no one was able to get a good look at the shoes of the high-ranking guest. The small clutch in Kate's hands was exactly the same as the outfit: the same color, the same embroidery. The look was completed with massive earrings from an Indian jewelry brand. Amrapali.

The royal couple spent the second day of their official tour of India and Bhutan in New Delhi, where during the day the couple laid a wreath of flowers at the eternal flame. Kate, despite the almost forty-degree heat, was wearing a white woolen dress from the designer Emilia Wickstead, the price of which, according to some sources, is £1,700, which is a coefficient of almost $2,500. The white laconic dress looked great on the duchess, but almost played a cruel joke on her: a gust of wind caught the light hem of the dress and raised it almost to a critical level, but Kate managed to hold her skirt in time and avoided worldwide embarrassment. Naturally, this incident was immediately connected with the classic plot, where, standing on a ventilation grill, he holds a light white dress that piquantly reveals the hips of a sex symbol. The duchess perfectly complemented the treacherous Emilia Wickstead dress with beige pumps and gold earrings from an unidentified brand.

In the evening, the prince and his wife attended a gala reception in honor of the 90th anniversary, where Kate appeared in a long dress from Temperley London, decorated with ethnic embroidery. The Duchess completed her look with sandals from Gianvito Rossi and the most budget earrings from the brand Accessorize. Those who follow Catherine’s life know that she wore these earrings even before her wedding to the prince, and her sister Kate was also seen wearing these earrings at one time. This is royal modesty.

During the third day, Kate Middleton and her husband visited the Salaam Baalak shelter for street children, where the duchess was immediately painted on her forehead with a traditional female decoration - bindi. The red dot was in perfect harmony with the long scarlet dress of the Duchess, remembered for its colorful ethnic motifs. It turned out that the same dress can be bought on the international website glamorous.com, where you will have to pay $77 for it. But girls who want to dress like a duchess will be disappointed, because there are no more such dresses left in stock, and they will now have to wait for a new delivery, forecast for May 10. The red dress was paired with shoes in the most natural shade of beige, as if hinting that the duchess, like a real Indian, walks barefoot.

As is tradition, the royal couple attended an official event in the evening. This time Kate and William met with Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi at the ruler's residence. For this reception, Catherine chose an absolutely stunning lace dress. Alice Temperley green-turquoise color. The outfit is stunning not only with its beauty, but also with its price - $1135. But it should be noted how skillfully the duchess “packed her suitcase” for the trip: this is not the first time that beige pumps have appeared on the beauty’s feet, and this choice always hits the target. The neutral-colored shoes were complemented by a clutch from LK Bennett in colour.

The fourth day of the big official travels of Kate Middleton and Prince William passed in direct contact with nature. First, the royal couple took a safari to Kaziranga National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. For this adventure, Kate chose the most practical look: a blouse R. M. Williams and slim fit pants Zara. Seeing the Duchess in trousers is a great success, because Catherine most often wears dresses and skirts. But it should be noted that this casual style suits her very well. From time to time, the royal lady wore her favorite glasses from Ray-Ban.

Afterwards, Kate and William went to the Mark Shand Foundation of the same Kaziranga National Park. For the second part of the day, the Duchess changed clothes but kept her style casual. It may seem surprising, but she dressed as budget as possible: in a dress with ethnic embroidery Topshop which she accessorized with earrings Accessorize and wedge sandals Pied a Terre Imperia. As practice shows, Catherine has a special weakness for accessories from Accessorize, for example she sported other earrings from the same brand.

Walking down a private jet in a dress Emilia Wickstead, looked like a movie star. By the way, the duchess has already appeared in public in this dress, and this was already in 2012. Catherine logically complemented her creme brulee dress with powder-colored pumps and gold earrings.

For daytime formal entertainment, Kate chose an outfit as close as possible to national women's costume in BhutanKira. The material for this skirt was produced by Bhutanese designers and deliberately sent to the UK, where Kate was measured and the item was made. The cape with ethnic embroidery, which the Duchess wore with a skirt, is from a French brand Paul & Joe and costs about $500. Kate completed her look with a sapphire engagement ring, the same beige heeled pumps and neat earrings from Jestun Pema.

Kate and William's apparently ceremonial exit remains a mystery to this day. It is unknown what event they attended, but judging by the duchess’s bright makeup, something very interesting was hidden from the eyes of the press. It is only known that Kate went out in a dress Tory Burch.

Probability theory is not about mathematics, as it turns out, but about the lives of celebrities. As already today, the day before I attended a certain gala event in Bhutan, which was not told to the press, in a dress from Tory Burch. A little later it turned out that around the same time, American actress Drew Barrymore appeared at a charity event dedicated to animal protection. ASPCA Bergh Ball in New York also in a dress Tory Burch! How can this be? Drew paired her multi-colored dress with gray velor shoes from, and Kate thought a more suitable pair of sandals from Gianvito Rossi.

First, the Duchess and the Prince took a very grueling walk to the monastery Taktsang-lakhang. It was grueling, if only because the monastery, whose name can be translated as “ Bird's nest” is located above a cliff at an altitude of 3120 meters! Well, the Bhutanese heat added a special “charm” to this walk. But the royal couple looked quite happy and watched the local beauties with interest. No one found out what brand she was wearing, but it should be noted that the duchess’s image was put together, according to tradition, impeccably. A white cotton blouse is a great conservative-looking item that perfectly protects against heat and high humidity. Comfortable leather boots allowed Kate to feel cheerful and happy even after a three-hour walk in the mountains. By the way, these boots have been “living” in the duchess’s wardrobe for more than 12 years! Back in her university days, Katherine loved to flaunt this pair from the brand Penelope Chilvers.

The royal tour ended with a gala dinner in honor of the friendship between Great Britain and Bhutan, where Kate appeared in a long red dress with a large print of poppies. This dress has already been nicknamed Juliet Flower Spirit, because the Himalayan poppy is considered the main symbol flower in Bhutan and is called “Juliet”. The duchess chose a luxurious dress from a British brand Beulah and paid a little over $1000 for it. Catherine complemented her already self-sufficient outfit with a sapphire engagement ring and her favorite laconic sandals from Tory Burch, which are already on a big tour.

The final chord of this adventure was a visit to one of the most famous attractions of India - Taj Mahal. For her visit to the mosque, Catherine chose a sheath dress from a world-famous Indian designer and the already legendary beige pumps, which she wore for the fourth time during the trip. It is noteworthy that Kate and William photographed on the same bench in front of the Taj Mahal as William's beloved mother 24 years ago.
