Holidays in June in Crimea. Everyone is walking: Eid al-Adha is starting to be celebrated in Crimea. Working hours for residents of the Republic of Crimea

The celebration of one of the main Muslim holidays, Kurban Bayram, begins in Crimea.

As a correspondent of RIA “New Day” reports, Kurban Bayram - the holiday of sacrifice - is celebrated 70 days after Eid al-Adha, on the 10th day of the month of Dhul-Hijjah, after the end of the Hajj. In Crimea, where Muslims make up about 10% of the population, Eid al-Adha and Eid al-Fitr are considered public holidays and have been declared public holidays since 2014. This year, Eid al-Fitr will last from September 1 to 3. Since September 1 is also the Day of Knowledge, the first day of autumn will not be a day off in Crimea - it has been moved to September 4.

On the first day of the holiday, festive services will be held in all mosques in Crimea, and imams of mosques will address parishioners with sermons and congratulations.

Muslims start celebrating Eid al-Fitr in the morning. They must perform ablution, put on neat clothes and attend collective prayer in the mosque, after which the believers begin the sacrificial ritual. A prayer is said over the ram, which has been prepared for slaughter, then it is thrown with its head towards Mecca and its throat is cut. The meat is cooked and eaten at a common meal, and also distributed to relatives, neighbors, and the poor. During the holiday, it is customary to visit the elderly and relatives, pay attention to the sick and poor, visit the graves of the dead and offer prayers, and perform sacrifice rituals.

In the Belogorsky district, on September 2 at 16:00, a children's party will be organized on the territory of the restored ancient mosque in the village of Cheremisovka. The program includes games, quizzes, competitions, gifts and, of course, treats.

On September 3, a concert and a fair of decorative and applied arts will be organized in the Trenev park in Simferopol.

In Krasnogvardeisky, festive events will take place on the territory adjacent to the Mecca-Jami mosque on September 3 at 15:00. Among other things, competitions in the national Crimean Tatar wrestling “Kuresh” will take place. The winner will receive the main prize - a ram.

is a near-Earth object with a diameter of about 30 meters. It was discovered on August 29, 2006, when it was at a distance of 4.5 million km. from our planet. Scientists observed the celestial body for 10 days, after which the asteroid was no longer visible through telescopes.

Based on such a short observation period, it is impossible to accurately determine the distance at which asteroid 2006 QV89 will approach the Earth on 09/09/2019, since the asteroid has not been observed since then (since 2006). Moreover, according to various estimates, the object may approach our planet not on the 9th, but on another date in September 2019.

As for whether 2006 QV89 will collide with Earth on September 9, 2019 or not - the likelihood of a collision is extremely low.

Thus, the Sentry System (developed by the JPL Center for NEO Studies) shows that the probability of a body colliding with the Earth is 1:9100 (those. about one ten thousandth of a percent).

The European Space Agency (ESA) estimates the chance of an asteroid crossing its orbit with our planet as 1 to 7300 (0,00014 % ). ESA placed 2006 QV89 in 4th place among celestial bodies posing a potential danger to Earth. According to the agency, the exact time of “flight” of the body on September 9, 2019 is 10:03 Moscow time.

In both Orthodoxy and Catholicism, Easter always falls on Sunday.

Easter 2020 is preceded by Lent, which begins 48 days before the Holy Day. And after 50 days they celebrate Trinity.

Popular pre-Christian customs that have survived to this day include dyeing eggs, making Easter cakes and curd Easter cakes.

Easter treats are blessed in the church on Saturday, the eve of Easter 2020, or after the service on the day of the Holiday itself.

We should greet each other on Easter with the words “Christ is Risen,” and respond with “Truly He is Risen.”

This will be the fourth game for the Russian team in this qualifying tournament. Let us remind you that in the previous three meetings, Russia “at the start” lost to Belgium with a score of 1:3, and then won two dry victories - over Kazakhstan (4:0) and over San Marino (9:0). The last victory was the largest in the entire existence of the Russian football team.

As for the upcoming meeting, according to bookmakers, the Russian team is the favorite in it. The Cypriots are objectively weaker than the Russians, and the islanders cannot expect anything good from the upcoming match. However, we must take into account that the teams have never met before, and therefore unpleasant surprises may await us.

The Russia-Cyprus meeting will take place on June 11, 2019 In Nizhniy Novgorod at the stadium of the same name, built for the 2018 FIFA World Cup. Start of the match - 21:45 Moscow time.

Where and what time do the national teams of Russia and Cyprus play:
* Venue of the match - Russia, Nizhny Novgorod.
* Game start time is 21:45 Moscow time.

HAPPY HOLIDAYS!

Mufti of Crimea Haji Emirali ABLAEV:

Dear Crimeans! Dear compatriots!

On behalf of the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol, I cordially congratulate you on the upcoming Muslim holiday of Kurban Bayram!

This holiday personifies care for one's neighbor and compassion for those in need, awakens the souls of people, filling their hearts with mercy, kindness, forgiveness, and gratitude. A sacrifice made for the pleasure of Allah strengthens faith, strengthens fear of God, cleansing the heart from the taint of the frailty of existence.

May Allah Almighty grant us His boundless mercy and mercy and accept all our prayers, wishes and donations!

May peace and harmony, well-being and prosperity remain throughout the world.

With respect and kind prayers in all your good deeds.

Deputy of the State Duma of the Federation Council of the Russian Federation Ruslan BALBEC:

Dear Crimeans! Dear compatriots!

These days we are celebrating one of the main Muslim holidays - Kurban Bayram. Kurban Bayram is a holiday of obedience to the Almighty, bringing people closer together, and affirming the ideals of goodness and mercy. These days, about four hundred Muslims of our peninsula are in the Holy Lands of Mecca and Medina, many of them are performing the Hajj for the first time, and are praying for peace and stability in our common home. May the Almighty accept their prayers.

It is gratifying that in recent years the number of pilgrims from Crimea has been increasing, and this is an indicator that the spiritual and moral education of society is rapidly developing.

I am sure that such holidays strengthen interfaith and interethnic friendship between the peoples inhabiting our fertile Crimean land. Friendship and mutual respect blur the boundaries between rich and poor and allow us to strengthen warm relationships within our multicultural and multinational society.

I congratulate all Crimeans on this blessed holiday and wish that the Almighty sends you and your families prosperity, health and warmth. We should all strive to do good deeds and help those who need our help.

Head of Crimea Sergei AKSENOV:

Congratulations to the Muslims of Crimea on the holiday of Kurban Bayram!

This holiday, marking the end of the pilgrimage to Muslim shrines, embodies the high moral ideals of Islam, symbolizes devotion to faith, peace and goodness, care for neighbors, compassion for the disadvantaged.

On the days of celebration, an ancient ritual of sacrifice is performed.

In our republic, Kurban Bayram is officially declared a day off.

Crimean Muslims are making a worthy contribution to the development of the peninsula, to strengthening peace and harmony on Crimean land. Islamic shrines are being built and restored, the organization of spiritual educational activities is being improved, educational information resources are being developed, and charitable projects are being implemented.

I would like to especially note the high level of trust and mutual understanding between the Council of Ministers of the Republic and the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of Crimea and Sevastopol. Government authorities of Russia and Crimea traditionally provide assistance and assistance to pilgrims going on Hajj. This year, 375 Crimeans made a pilgrimage to the shrines of Islam.

On this holiday I wish all Crimeans health, peace and prosperity!

FROM THE HISTORY

We treat everyone: chebureks, yantyki and all kinds of sweets

Eid al-Adha (Feast of Sacrifice) is the Islamic celebration of the end of the Hajj. It does not have a fixed date. Celebrated 70 days after the holiday of Eid al-Adha, on the 10th day of the month of Dhul-Hijjah in memory of the sacrifice of the prophet Ibrahim. According to tradition, on this day it is customary to treat everyone with food, especially the poor and disadvantaged.

The mythology of the holiday goes back to the famous biblical story that took place in Mecca in the Mina Valley: Patriarch Abraham (in Arabic - Ibrahim), having submitted to the will of Allah, was ready to sacrifice his son. But Allah, seeing that Ibrahim had humbled himself, allowed him to replace his son with a lamb.

Muslims prepare for the holiday in advance. The day before, housewives bake bread, pasties and yantyki, prepare desserts and distribute treats to neighbors and acquaintances. Celebrations begin early in the morning. At first light, Muslims go to the mosque for morning prayer, having completed their ablutions. At the end of the morning namaz (prayer), believers return home. Then they go again to the mosque or to a specially designated area where the sermon is delivered. At the end of the sermon, Muslims usually go to the cemetery to pray for the dead.

Then the main ritual begins - the sacrifice. It is allowed to sacrifice not only rams, but also camels, cows, bulls, buffaloes, sheep and goats. The main thing is that the animal is healthy, without flaws or shortcomings. Traditional dishes are prepared from the meat of the animal, which are enjoyed at a festive meal, and also distributed to friends, neighbors and the poor. On the holiday, it is customary to visit relatives, give gifts to relatives and friends, and also invite everyone to your table.

In the Republic of Crimea, in addition to all-Russian holidays and weekends, a number of additional holidays have been established. This affects the general working hours and calculation of wages for employees.

From the article you will learn:

Weekend

Providing days off to employees of enterprises throughout the Russian Federation is regulated by the Labor Code. Article 111 of this normative act is devoted to this issue. It establishes that every employee has the right to receive continuous weekly rest in the form of days off, the number of which depends on his work schedule. It is prescribed in the employment contract, collective agreement or local regulatory documents of the company and may include:

  • one day off per week - with a six-day working week;
  • two days off per week - with a five-day working week;
  • - if a part-time working schedule is established for the employee in accordance with Art. 93 Labor Code of the Russian Federation.

Providing days off

The specific distribution of days off within the work week is regulated both by law and by internal labor regulations in force within the company.

Download documents on the topic:

Article 111 of the Labor Code of the Russian Federation determines that Sunday is a general day off for all categories of workers. The second day off for employees who work a five-day work week is provided at the discretion of the employer in accordance with current local regulations.

Question from practice

Who can be hired to work on weekends and holidays?

The answer was prepared jointly with the editors

Nina Kovyazina answers,
Deputy Director of the Department of Medical Education and Personnel Policy in Healthcare of the Russian Ministry of Health

As a general rule, employees can be recruited to work on weekends and holidays only with their written consent and only in situations provided for in Article 113 of the Labor Code. Exceptions to the rule are minors and pregnant women. The law prohibits them from working on such days. In some cases, it is not necessary to obtain employee consent to work on weekends or holidays. Details are in our recommendation.

Ask your question to the experts

However, the priority is the weekend distribution scheme, in which two days of rest are consecutive. In practice, this condition means that employees may be given days off on Saturday and Sunday or Sunday and Monday.

However, the list of acceptable ways to distribute days off is not limited to these options. Part 3 of Article 111 of the Labor Code of the Russian Federation provides in this regard special opportunities for employers whose production process cannot be suspended due to technological or organizational features. This entails the need to distribute days off for workers throughout the work week. For example, some employees rest on Monday and Tuesday, another part on Wednesday and Thursday, and the rest on Saturday and Sunday. In this case, the procedure for providing days off is necessarily fixed in the internal labor regulations and the employment contract with the employee.

Holidays

Employees of enterprises have the right not to go to work not only on weekends, but also on holidays. According to Article 112 of the Labor Code of the Russian Federation, citizens of the Russian Federation are provided with 14 non-working holidays during the year, namely:

  • New Year holidays - from January 1 to January 8, with the exception of January 7;
  • January 7 - Christmas;
  • February 23 - Defender of the Fatherland Day;
  • March 8 - International Women's Day;
  • May 1 - Spring and Labor Day;
  • May 9 - Victory Day;
  • June 12 - Russia Day;
  • November 4 is National Unity Day.

Article 6 of the Labor Code of the Russian Federation also gives the subjects of the Federation the right to establish additional holidays. They may be provided in connection with religious holidays or the onset of certain memorable dates. You can find out how this right is implemented in practice from our material.

Transfer of days off

In addition to the standard days off, stipulated by Article 111 of the Labor Code of the Russian Federation and the internal labor regulations of the company, employees are provided with additional days off during the year in accordance with Art. 112 Labor Code of the Russian Federation. Their occurrence is due to part 2 of this article, which provides for the postponement of a day off if it falls on a state holiday. holiday.

This transfer can be carried out in one of two ways:

  1. transfer of a day off to the next working day;
  2. transfer of a day off to another working day within the calendar year.

To legitimize the transfer, the Russian government annually issues a special resolution, which specifies a specific scheme for providing days off and holidays to employees. In 2018, such a document is .

According to Part 5 of Article 112 of the Labor Code of the Russian Federation, this normative act must be issued no later than a month before the start of the next year. The transfer of days off under the new scheme is also possible during the year, however, this requires the publication of a separate regulatory document, which must be carried out no later than two months before the date in question.

Production calendar

For practical purposes, such as recording employee working hours, providing vacations and calculation of vacation pay, calculation of temporary disability benefits, etc., there is a convenient tool. It was called the production calendar. Essentially, it is a time schedule that reflects the actual distribution of weekends and holidays throughout the year.

In addition to this information, the calendar also indicates the dates on which employees' work shifts should be reduced. This requirement is contained in Article 95 of the Labor Code of the Russian Federation. According to this section of the Labor Code, on the working day that immediately precedes a holiday, the work shift of specialists is subject to reduction by one hour without further work.

In 2018, this condition applies to the following working days:

  1. February 22, Thursday - a working day on the eve of February 23, Defenders of the Fatherland Day, which is celebrated on Friday;
  2. March 7, Wednesday - a working day on the eve of March 8, International Women's Day, which is celebrated on Thursday;
  3. April 28, Saturday - a working day moved from Monday, April 30, preceding May 1, Spring and Labor Day, which is celebrated on Tuesday;
  4. June 9, Saturday - a working day moved from Monday, June 11, preceding June 12, Russia Day, which is celebrated on Tuesday;
  5. December 29, Saturday is a working day moved from Monday, December 31, preceding January 1, the first day of the New Year holidays, which falls on Tuesday.

Weekends in Crimea

Since 2015, Russian labor legislation has been applied in the Republic of Crimea. Its application concerns, in particular, the procedure for providing days off to working citizens. This means that all the requirements of the Labor Code of the Russian Federation regarding the provision of weekly rest to employees are also valid on the territory of the republic.

You can find out what the production calendar looks like for residents of the peninsula from this : it provides an example of a calendar for the most popular work mode - a five-day work week with two days off.

Additional holidays in Crimea

The condition on the application of Russian labor legislation in Crimea applies not only to weekends, but also to holidays, which are also non-working days. Thus, the republic celebrates all 14 days that have the status of holidays in the Russian Federation. However, in addition to them, in accordance with Article 6 of the Labor Code of the Russian Federation, the subject of the Federation, using its right, established several regional holidays, which have the status of weekends in Crimea for residents of the republic.

Note! Every year, the Head of the Republic of Crimea approves the Decree on non-working holidays on the territory of the Republic of Crimea. Thus, in 2017, Decree of the Head of the Republic of Crimea dated March 30, 2017 N 160-U “ ».

For 2018, such a decree has not yet been approved. Meanwhile, taking into account the information provided by the Simferopol and Crimean diocese and the Centralized Religious Organization of the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol, it is assumed that the 2018 holiday calendar in Crimea will include:

  • March 18 - Day of reunification of the Republic of Crimea with Russia;
  • April 8 - Easter;
  • May 27 - Holy Trinity Day;
  • June 14 - Eid al-Adha;
  • August 22 - Kurban Bayram.

It is noticeable that the bulk of additional days off in Crimea in 2018 are associated with memorable dates within the Orthodox and Muslim religions. Indeed, despite the secular status of the state, Part 7 of Article 4 of the Federal Law of September 26, 1997 N 125-FZ gives religious organizations the right to petition for the declaration of a non-working holiday as a non-working holiday. In this case, such a request was granted in several cases at once. We spoke in more detail about the procedure for introducing additional holidays at a special webinar.

Working hours for residents of the Republic of Crimea

Due to the significant number of weekends and holidays in Crimea in 2018, working time standards for residents of the republic in many cases turn out to be more lenient than for most workers in the Russian Federation. In particular, this applies to the months in which Crimea celebrates regional holidays. At the same time, we recall that in accordance with the provisions of Art. 112 of the Labor Code of the Russian Federation, workers who receive payment for their work in the amount of their salary must receive the amount due to them in their hands, depending on the number of days worked in the month. By the way, this article requires that for workers who receive wages on a piece-rate or time-based basis, additional payments are accrued for weekends - even if they were not involved in work on these days. We talk about state requirements for the amount of such additional payment in this .
