If the wreath is woven from fresh branches, then it is advisable to break them a little, every 2-3 cm, trying not to tear the bark, so that the branches do not break during weaving. If the branches have already been lying for several days and have dried out, then before weaving they need to be soaked in very hot water for about an hour, then also broken a little.

We begin to weave a wreath, wrapping each branch around the next one in a circle, holding the tips of the first branches (you can tie them or fasten them with thin wire). At the beginning of weaving, we use the thickest branches, then we braid them with thinner ones.

Then I insert small willow branches into the wreath.

I coat the wreath with acrylic matte varnish. A powder made from polystyrene foam granules will be glued onto it.

I sprinkle polystyrene granules onto the wreath. They are very light and easily stick to the varnish. And, thanks to their lightness, they scatter throughout the house :) Therefore, it is better to work with them in some low box. Balls of delicate shades and different sizes... Very reminiscent of sprinkles on an Easter cake!

Between the branches of the willow we insert dry pistachio leaves (I had leftovers from some bouquet of flowers) or other leaves, not necessarily dry.

Add polystyrene foam balls.

Glue foam eggs onto the transparent modeling gel. I only used two - yellow and mint.

While the dough is rising, you can prepare the poppy seed filling. To do this, bring the remaining milk to a boil, add poppy seeds and simmer the mixture over low heat, stirring constantly. At the moment when the poppy seeds completely absorb the milk, add half a glass of sugar and a piece of butter.

Place the dough on a table sprinkled with flour. Roll out a rectangular layer at least one centimeter wide. Spread the poppy seed filling and raisins evenly onto the dough and sprinkle with cinnamon. From flowers

It is better to use piaflora as the basis for a wreath of fresh flowers. This is a special porous material for floral arrangements, reminiscent of a sponge. Piaflora is sold in flower shops and comes in different shapes and sizes. If you can’t find a round base, you can purchase a long rectangular block of material and roll it into a ring, or make a base from any available material and use floral capsules.

It is necessary to prepare the following tools and materials.

You will need:

• round piaflora, or a base of branches and floral capsules;
• fresh flowers and leaves;
• pruner
• wire;
• glue gun

Most often, flower shops use hyacinths, lilies of the valley, white roses, gerberas, daisies and violets to create Easter wreaths.

If you use piaflora, you need to make a mount with which the wreath will be suspended and glue it. In the case of a branch base, it is necessary to fill the floral capsules and attach them to the base using hot glue. This wreath is usually hung on a nail or secured with ribbon.

In the case of piaflora, flower stems and twigs are simply stuck into the material. This way they will stick well, but for reliability you can additionally rewind the composition with wire. Examples of composition collection are presented in the photo below. If the wreath is made on a basis of twigs, then the flowers are placed in floral capsules accordingly. Excess stems and branches are cut off.

The wreath is decorated with flowers in whole or in part; additional decorative elements, such as ribbons or bird figurines, also look beautiful.

Decorative elements are attached using hot glue and additional wire. You can also use artificial flowers. In this case, it is easier to make a wreath, since you do not need to worry about water supplies.

From fabric

A fabric wreath is practical, will last for more than one holiday, and the necessary materials can be found in any craftswoman’s sewing box.

You will need:

• base for the wreath (a foam ring or crumpled paper and wrapped with tape or cling film);
• beautiful fabric, lace, braid, depending on the desired result (two types of ribbon are used in the photo below);
• flowers made of fabric and buttons connected with wire;
• tree branches (first place in water so that the buds open);
• a nest made of dry grass or twine;
• eggs (pre-empty, make a small hole, dry);
• blue and gold paint;
• wire;
• glue gun

You should first think about the moment of attaching the finished decoration to the wall; you may need thread or twine for a loop.

Manufacturing:

1. The base is wrapped in fabric. It is convenient to glue the ends of the material with hot glue or attach with pins and nails.
2. Paint the egg blanks blue, and after drying, apply specks of gold paint.
3. Secure the branches into a bundle using wire and tie them to the base.
4. Glue the eggs to the nest, and the nest with the eggs to the wreath.
5. Decorate the branches with flowers.
6. Attach a ribbon to the top of the wreath, with which the product will be suspended.

The choice of material for a fabric wreath is limited only by imagination; denim, burlap, felt and other fabrics can be used.

You can decorate the wreath with almost any available materials, it is only important to observe the compatibility of colors.

From the branches

A wreath woven from blossoming willow branches will turn out beautiful and delicate.

It is most appropriate to place such a wreath on the front door, this way you will immediately surprise the guests and will have to clean up less, since the willow “seals”, unfortunately, will soon fall off.

You will need:

• wire;
• pruner;
• willow branches;
• base made of rods or wire;
• decorative elements as desired.

You can use lace, cameo, yarn and twine as additional decoration.

Progress:

1. Willow branches 8-10 cm long are selected and cut.
2. The branches are collected in equal bundles and fastened with wire at the base.
3. The resulting palm bouquets are attached to the base clockwise, hiding the points of attachment.
4. The wreath is wrapped in lace or twine depending on your choice.

From eggs

For this decoration you will need a lot of decorative eggs. You can buy them in large florist stores, or make them yourself. To do this, the shell of a chicken egg must be carefully pierced on one side (on the side, at the place of future attachment to the base), emptied and dried.

Materials:

• wicker base;
• egg blanks, approximately 26-30 pieces depending on the size of the base;
• paints;
• decorative napkins with Easter-themed patterns;
• textile;
• artificial bindweed with flowers and leaves (can be replaced with starched lace or ribbon);
• hot glue.

The color palette of the wreath is determined at the time of selection of material. The key is the shades and colors of the fabric and napkins available, as the colors are easier to select and mix. In the photo below, the eggs are painted lilac and light lilac to match the fabric and paper decor.

Progress:

1. Before assembling the wreath, you need to paint and paste over the eggs. To do this, the blanks are divided into 5 parts and processed. For example, if there are 30 pieces in stock, then 6 of them need to be covered with fabric, 6 with decorative napkins, the rest should be painted with paints in adjacent colors. The proportions of eggs made in different materials can be varied as desired. You can also leave the natural color of the shell on several blanks and sprinkle a little paint, for example, gold, for greater elegance.
2. Next, the dried eggs are glued to the base using hot glue.
3. The wreath is carefully wrapped in bindweed or lace. Ready.

From yarn

A yarn wreath is made very simply: the prepared base is wrapped with woolen thread or twine, then decorated as desired using hot glue. They decorate wreaths with figurines of bunnies and birds, hand-made flowers, and painted eggs.

An interior wreath carries the mood of the house and its residents. It is often placed above the fireplace or at the head of the bed. This is one of the central compositions that sets the tone for the design of the room. In addition, the front door is often decorated with wreaths. And if we are all already accustomed to the tradition of decorating the entrance with a Christmas wreath, not everyone makes wreaths for Easter. So, on this bright holiday, let the first to greet guests is an unusually beautiful Easter wreath on the door, made with your own hands from eggshells and natural materials!

To make such a wreath yourself, you will need the following materials:

• cardboard;
• corrugated paper;
• newspaper sheets;
• decorative “web” to match the corrugated paper;
• sisal;
• straw;
• egg shells;
• paints (gouache, acrylic, watercolor);
• dried flowers (branches, berries, flowers, blades of grass, spikelets);
• jute rope;
• small decor (artificial flowers, berries, grass);
• brush;
• scissors;
• pliers (for cutting thick branches);
• hot glue gun.

Cut out a ring from thick cardboard. Its diameter will approximately correspond to the size of the future wreath.

Roll up several sheets of newspaper. Using hot glue, attach the resulting tubes around the perimeter of the ring. This way the base will acquire the required volume - the wreath will not be flat.

Cut the corrugated paper along the bundle into long strips 5-8 cm wide. Gently stretch one edge with your fingers, and use scissors to make cuts - a fringe.

Cover the ring blank with a strip of corrugated paper, leaving the fringe on the outside. Cover the top with a decorative mesh “spider web”. Secure with hot glue.

Lightly compress the sisal with your hands and “wrap” the front surface of the wreath with it. There is no need to apply glue. Tie it in several places with straw.

Wash and dry the eggshells.

Use broken egg shells. This is not only acceptable in the work, but also looks very original in the end.

Paint the outer and inner surface of the shell.

It is preferable to use gouache for this procedure; it gives the desired matte shade. But you can use acrylic paints or watercolors.

Paint the edges of several shells in a contrasting color. They will be attached to the wreath with the inside facing up.

Hot glue the egg decor around the perimeter of the base. Glue two or three shells upside down. These are future “vases” for mini-bouquets.

From now on, use your imagination and, based on a sense of proportion and style, decorate the wreath with small decor. The more varieties there are, the better.

Attach dry branches along the outer edge of the wreath. They will not only serve as decoration, but will also beautifully “outline” the shape of the accessory.

Place the decor according to the principle: first large, then small. Finally, glue on the most elegant blades of grass.

Pass the jute rope through the ring and form a loop so that the accessory can be hung in the future.
