HELPFUL ADVICE
Knitted items should not be hung on hangers, as they will stretch under their own weight. It is better to wash in cool water using special detergents. Soak for 3 minutes, squeeze several times (but do not rub), then rinse thoroughly in cool water and squeeze lightly. Do not twist while spinning! Wrap in a terry towel and wring out again. Then straighten it and lay it out on a flat surface, preferably on a thick fabric that allows air to pass through well. Do not steam knitted items!

Step-by-step description of knitting a kangaroo pullover.

First, the sleeves are made by knitting in the round, with elastic along the inner “seam”.

Then the body of the pullover begins from the bottom up.

Decide whether you want to add a kangaroo pocket to your pullover or not. If you don't want to, skip to the next section of the description. If you decide to choose the kangaroo pocket version, cast on stitches for the pocket along the previously marked row.

Knit the pocket in rows with the work turned, connect the kangaroo pocket loops to the main body loops to continue the work.

Continue knitting the body of the kangaroo pullover in the round until the armhole.

At this point it is necessary to connect the loops of the main part with the sleeves for knitting the yoke in a circle.

Knit the yoke in the round to form a raglan. Form the neck of the pullover in rows with the work turned, closing the loops for the front.

Finally, sew a pullover neck strap and connect the loops at the bottom of the armhole with a loop-to-loop seam.

In this pullover you can spend the last snowy days of winter and so on until the end of the fresh spring nights.
